Privacy Policy

Rare Data LLC respects your privacy. This policy covers QuotaFX, our other Quota desktop applications, and the getquota.app website. The short version: QuotaFX processes audio on your device and does not collect or transmit user data to Rare Data. There are no QuotaFX accounts, advertisements, analytics, or tracking SDKs.

QuotaFX for iPhone and iPad

  • Audio stays on your device. QuotaFX processes audio locally in the standalone app or inside an AUv3 host. Audio is not uploaded, recorded by Rare Data, or sent to an analytics service.
  • Microphone access is used only for live processing. The standalone app requests microphone permission so it can process microphone or connected-interface input. QuotaFX does not retain or transmit that input.
  • Trial and unlock status stay local. QuotaFX stores only its trial and purchase-unlock status in an on-device App Group container shared by the standalone app and its AUv3 extension.
  • Purchases are handled by Apple. Product information, purchases, and restores use Apple StoreKit under Apple’s terms and privacy policy. Rare Data does not receive or store your card details through QuotaFX.
  • Data collected by QuotaFX: none. QuotaFX sends Rare Data no audio, analytics, advertising identifiers, location, contacts, account information, crash telemetry, or other user data. In Apple’s App Privacy terms, QuotaFX is “Data Not Collected.”

Quota desktop applications

  • Our desktop audio and media tools process your files, audio, transcripts, and exports locally unless a specific feature clearly tells you otherwise. Rare Data does not receive that creative content merely because you use the app.
  • Quota Video Sampler transcription models run locally; no audio or transcript is sent to Rare Data for transcription.
  • Quota Voice and Quota Voice Remote have additional, product-specific details in the Quota Voice Privacy Policy.

Website, commerce, and support

  • getquota.app uses minimal aggregate website analytics. We do not sell or rent personal browsing history.
  • Desktop purchases are handled by Paddle, our merchant of record. Paddle processes and stores the billing information required for those transactions; Rare Data does not see your full card number.
  • For direct desktop purchases, we use the email address associated with the order to deliver license keys, provide downloads, recover purchases, and send essential product information.
  • If you email support, you choose what information to send. We use it to answer your question, troubleshoot the issue, and maintain the support conversation.

Your Choices

  • You may request deletion of contact information Rare Data stores by emailing support@getquota.app.
  • You can unsubscribe from product emails at any time via the link provided or by contacting support.

Children

QuotaFX is not directed at children under 13 and collects no data from anyone, including children.

Changes

If a product’s data practices change, we will update this policy and its date. We will not begin collecting QuotaFX user data without updating the disclosure shown here and any required App Store privacy information.
